Grandma Jean's Goin' Trucking

There's a new sensation

    To sweep the nation

Grandma Jean’s goin' truckin'

Bob drove alone, until the kids

were grown.

Now Grandma Jean's goin' truckin'!

She packed her jeans and Cowboy boots.

  Put her knick nacks everywhere.

Yep, Granma Jean’s goin' truckin'.

No more leaking buses,

   No more uniforms.

She takes her turn behind that wheel

And drives through wind and storm.

They come from the big city.

They come from off the farm.

It's good to see a smiling face.

They give this job some charm.

It's great after all these years,

   They want to be together.

To ride side by side, from dusk till dawn,

   In every kind of weather.

Bob's lonesome day's are over.

There's a twinkle in his eye.

He's got his lady with him,

Now watch the miles roll by.
